The Fat Lady Sang
My summer of love (or at least a great job with great people) has come to a close. While it looked like we'd get more money and be able to survive, it all fell apart last week and in the space of 2 days, the only remaining option became to lay off more than 1/2 of the company, including all contractors (that's me). My last day is today and while I really want to get as much done as I can, I'm overwhelmed with sadness. These people are my friends, I'll miss them terribly. Not to mention the stress of being out of work once again.
