It's Hard To Find A Home

Most conception/pregnancy message boards are packed with straight women, many of whom love Jesus and their husbands. Since we're just some nice lesbians hoping for a baby who is not physically or mentally fucked up that sort of puts us in a different boat as far as the things I want to discuss on these boards. It seems that in all the internet, there's but one board for people TTC (trying to conceive) with donor sperm. That board is packed with nice lesbians, single moms by choice and straight women whose male partners are sperm-deficient in some way.

I feel more at home there than on any of the more generic boards, most of the time. But the fact that there's only one board like it (that I've found) makes me a little nervous. Though, why should it? Most of our real life (i.e. not on television) friends are straight and some even love Jesus. We get along fine with them, there's no reason to think I can't get along fine with the nice ladies of the boards, too.
